The fragrance is a different question. It follows the day. Fresh and clean after the gym. Something with authority, applied just before the boardroom. Something warm and slow for after work. Six fragrances in every Gallery Box, so the scent can change with what the day asks, in seconds, while the art stays the same.
The object The Gallery Box is a metal compact holding a solid fragrance balm. Open it, touch, close it. Six designs make up Liquid Contrast, each with its own fragrance. When a balm is spent, a refill takes its place and the compact stays with you.
The numbering Every compact carries its number. Each design has a fixed edition, and the first sixteen of each are the opening release. Numbering continues from seventeen in later runs, until the edition closes.
The vision It begins with the Gallery Box fragrance and its refills. A lip balm range follows, with flavours that reflect each design and each fragrance. In time, the gallery may open onto more of what you carry: flat metal compact wallets, glasses cases, phone covers, digital wallpapers, laptop skins.
