ABSTRAQT
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Your email is held for one purpose: to open the door. Never sold, never shared. Leave at any time.
Who we are
ABSTRAQT is operated by Scott d'Almeida, trading as ABSTRAQT, a sole trader based in Western Australia (ABN 42 838 225 652). In this policy, "we" and "us" mean ABSTRAQT.
Contact: contact@abstraqt.live
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Very little.
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
- Your name, email address and message, if you write to us through the contact form or by email.
- Basic technical information collected automatically by our website platform, such as browser type, device, approximate location and pages visited, through cookies and similar tools.
We do not ask for payment details. Nothing is for sale on this site yet.
Why we collect it
- To tell you when the doors open: release dates, the first numbered pieces and early access.
- To reply to your messages.
- To keep the site working, secure and measured.
We will not use your information for anything else without asking you first.
Who handles it
The site runs on Shopify. Shopify stores and processes your information on our behalf, to host the site, run the waitlist and send our emails. Shopify may store data on servers outside Australia, including in Canada and the United States. Its own privacy practices are set out at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Emails you send to contact@abstraqt.live are received through Google Workspace (Google), which handles them on our behalf. They are read by us and by the assistants and tools we use to run ABSTRAQT.
Apart from Shopify and Google acting on our behalf, we do not sell, rent, trade or share your information with anyone. The only exception is where the law requires it.
Emails and leaving
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. Use it at any time, or write to contact@abstraqt.live and we will remove you.
Cookies
Shopify uses cookies to run the site and understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you remain on the waitlist. Once you leave, or once it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No system is perfect, but access is kept to the people who need it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you the information we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
Write to contact@abstraqt.live. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your information, write to contact@abstraqt.live and we will look into it and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. When sales begin, this policy will be updated before any orders are taken.
